Through our carefully considered questionnaire, we will come to understand the “greatest hits” of your work and life experiences thus far, much like a doctor begins by taking a patient’s history before attempting a diagnosis. Your PE Consultant will review your resume and your responses to the PE Questionnaire, and generate a high-level summary of strengths and weaknesses, as well as an action plan for how best to move forward. (This initial process is identical for all Precision Essay packages.)
For Deluxe clients, the feeback portion can occur via phone/Skype conversations, in addition to email.
Step 2 — Draft 1. We roll up our sleeves and dig. Deep. The cornerstone of the Precision Essay editing style is asking tough questions to challenge your claims, force you to introspect and understand your story inside-out. Your PE Team (composed of a Top 10 MBA and a Professional Writer) will push you relentlessly for missing details, and offer clear, actionable suggestions to achieve pristine logic. Your work will be bloodied with ink. You’ll rework the essays and send back clean copies to complete the first round of deep editing.
Step 3 — Draft 2 - We next show the work to another Top 10 MBA for a fresh perspective. However, your 2nd MBA will view the work through a very calculated lens: the 2nd MBA will look exclusively for weaknesses and missed opportunities. This step—unique to Precision Essay—ensures that, together, we leave no stone unturned in mounting the most successful application possible. While the criticism will be tough, it is a highly effective step toward building an application’s core strength.
With the benefit of the feedback from the 2nd MBA, we’re able to catch any weaknesses and smooth them out over the remaining drafts. We look for any remaining big picture issues with the work, while digging into guts of the actual writing. Re-positioning elements with an essay can have a huge impact. Mock Interview: Once our clients complete interviews, we always contact them to learn exactly what transpired behind closed doors, keeping us on the cutting edge of each school’s interview process. Over Skype, we provide a thorough mock interview followed by specific feedback on strengths and weaknesses. This is followed up by a second call, repeating the process.
Resume: Over the course of two intense edits, we will help you nail your content, remove clutter, sharpen your wording, spice up your layout, and help this crucial document take flight.
Letters of Recommendation: We can offer tips for you to communicate to your recommenders (depending on your relationship).
